Arizona Winter Camping Trip

 

We know that winter is a great time to go camping in Arizona. And Lake Roosevelt is a great place to go during cooler weather. Learn how easy it is to get there from Phoenix, a great place to camp, and great things to do while you are there.

Wintertime offers mild daytime temps and cool nights to gather around the campfire. And the area offers a lot of things to do. The historic Apache Trail offers a great
4-wheeling adventure to a lunch at Tortilla Flat. The nearby visitor's center offers a good introduction to the world's largest masonary dam. And the indian ruins at the Tonto National Monument are not to be missed.

The Grand Canyon is truely one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Almost everyone can't help but say "Wow" when the first peer over the edge. And we know the perfect way to explore the canyon in an affordable way...in an Airstream, of course.
