Professional Renovation Increases the Value of Your Trailer
 

Polishing a vintage Airstream trailer is a sure fire way to increase its beauty and value at the same time.

At Airstreams4rent we use Nuvite aluminum polishes to safely bring out the mirror-like shine of a vintage trailer. We first strip the Plasticote (clearcoat) using Removall 220, an enviromentally safe industrial paint stripper. Then we use three different grits of Nuvite aluminum polish to polish the surface layer of the aluminum skin without exposing the base layer of not-so-shiny aluminum. The final polish contains a protectant that Nuvite uses to keep that shine longer. Subsiquent polishings only require the final polish step.
